Event Cancellation Policy

Your safety at Roadrunners of Kansas City events is a priority. We may cancel or reschedule an event if inclement weather is forecast or dangerous course conditions exist.

For example…

1. Effective temperature (factoring in wind chill) below 0 degrees Fahrenheit

2. Heat Index above 100 degrees Fahrenheit

3. Heavy rain or snow

4. Icy or slippery course conditions

5. Lightning, hail, or severe winds

Course conditions and weather can change unexpectedly during an event. Please use common sense in determining whether or not to continue.

Notification of cancellation

We try to cancel a run at least one hour before the published start time. To check an event's current status, go to the Events Page.
