Fitness Assessments are Back!

Fitness assessments are back for the Winter/Spring 2011 Running Program.
Find out if you have any imbalances in strength or flexibility that could decrease your running efficiency and possibly lead to injury. Lean muscle and an appropriate amount of body fat is desirable for long distance running. Find out your body composition.
Assessments will be performed by Amy Parkerson-Mitchell, licensed physical therapist and RRCA certified coach. Includes:
Metro Walk and Run on the Southwest corner of 95th and Metcalf.
Wear comfortable clothing.

- Testing of basic strength and flexibility of lower extremity
- Calculation of body composition
- Demonstration of basic stretches as needed
